When 300 students were kicked out of their South African all-girls high school over a few same-sex relations, the South African Commission for Gender Equality had to get involved to restore order. Jump over to Zimbabwe, where 20 girls at Eveline High School in Bulawayo have been arrested for practicing homosexuality after one girl accused others of being lesbians at a soccer tournament.
Africa, why do you brake my heart? I’m African born and raised. This makes me sad. Just to think that if I was still in Africa this is what I would face. Hopefully one day we can all love and be loved freely.
Its a love/hate relationship with mother Africa for me.

Clue me in, por favor. How does one need to “practice” to be lesbian? I didn’t need to “practice” to become a ghey. I was very good at it from the get go!
Joking aside, it’s sad to see that Zimbabwe has been taken over by the fundies.
/Since their agenda isn ‘t working out that well here, the fundies have now taken to the Third World to spread their hatered.

@bluenosedive: These are the real victims of a bigoted culture: the gays within it. That’s why this country needs to provide asylum to those who would otherwise be victims to anti-gay genocide in Africa, the Middle East, what have you.
@Jeffree: Zimbabwe has been ruled by the Marxist-Leninist ZANU-PF for some 30 years now. They’re not big fans of religion.

I’m not gay but i don’t see any reason to hate homosexuals,i used to think its a state of mind that can be changed to”normal” until i saw how my sister tried so hard to change yet she couldnt.its not a matter of choice to be gay, those people don’t choose it,there is no”encouragement” thats needed.dont hate them, they are not monsters but humans like us
