So gay culture according to the editors here and these tweets are EXACTLY what the GOP and conservatives say about us being sex crazed and sex addicted.
It is sad that the editors are deemed vapid and childish sex laden tweets as a part of gay culture….
Oh wait, I did not read the fine print “scroll down for 20 tweets about gay culture from this week that could not be more accurate” so next week we will see intelligent and inclusive statements about gay culture
Harley
Hey. If you don’t like the site then don’t click on it. Simple as that.
WashDrySpin
Naw, that’s not how the internet works…but thanks for the advice….
assyrianhunk
Precisely ! They assume we are sex sluts and not persons that are more than genitals, and abs.
ShiningSex
It’s all in fun. Get over it. It’s not that big of a deal. We’re on a site that likes to post crap about alleged straight men having sex with other men. Go figure.
mailliw110
Gay culture is also having to listen to “holier then thou” sex deprived snits bioch about people who are having more fun than you!
lord.krath
Who cares what GOP and conservatives think? That is the whole point of coming out and pride.
Thad
I think you’re allowed to disagree with any of these points. They sure ain’t law.
barryaksarben
Everyone CALM the f down this is all a joke not a dissertation on being gay. These are not serious, they are attempts at humor, some are some arent but no need to be upset WashDrySpin. And most are young guys who will grow more serious as they get a little older. Let them have some fun
assyrianhunk
Straight people who murder and maim LBGT community, know that there is truth in humor..this is how they view us, with being sore after sex, and etc…we are not vapid, lets start being more that sex abs and pecs. We are so brilliant. and yet self loathing. when is the last time we saw a pic of a gay man on this or any site with an “average body”.?
amanwithanedge

These comments are all stereotypes that the straight public feed on and so not fair for persons in our community to keep the sham going. I’ve been fighting for our rights since Stonewall and some part of all of these disagreeable observation/memes are accurate, because I’ve seen it all; however, it’s about 1% of our community. I want memes about the other 99% who have homes, families, businesses, great careers, don’t go to bars, don’t like to get it on every night with a stranger, and the safe gay community. Let’s do better for ourselves and community. I think that coming out is the strongest option we have.
assyrianhunk
I know this is entertainment and fun, however,
being a gay man, who also is light, fun, loving, sexual and adventurous,
after reading most of these about the “gay Culture”
its no wonder I feel an absence of belonging in this mostly vapid sub-culture.
Gay culture can be so powerful, a movement that can change re-shape our corrupt government, where the whole world knows for CERTAIN , they will not murder another one of our brothers and sisters.
Gay culture is Michaelangelo, Plato, Alexander the Great, Susan B. Anthony, Michael Bennett, Leonard Bernstein, Napoleon, Bowie, Botticelli, President James Buchanan, Julius Caesar, Capote, Chanel, Chopin, Collette, Cocteau, Cukor, Dali, James Dean, Monty Clift, Brando (Bi). Emily Dickinson, Dietrich, Dali, Harvey Milk, Barney Frank, Jodie Foster, Garbo, Hockney, Billie Holiday, Rock Hudson, Dusty Springfield, Janis Ian, Laura Nyro, James Ivory, Henry James, Elton, Jasper Johns, Janis Joplin, Frida Kahlo, Billie jean king, Kinsey, Larry Kramer, Kushner, KD Lang, Da Vinci, Lorca, Louganis, Rachel Maddow, Johnny Mathis, Maupin, Sir Ian Mckellen, Margaret Mead, George Michael, Freddie Mercury, Vincente Minnelli, mizrahi, Martina Navratilova, Isaac Newton, Anaiis Nin, Nureyev, Sir Lawrence Olivier, Peter the Great, Proust, Eleanor Roosevelt, Ram dass, Shakespeare, Sedaris, Socrates, Sondheim, Tchaikovsky, Sylvester, Stipe, lily Tomlin, Travolta, Alan Turing, Valentino, Vidal, Alice Walker, Warhol John Waters, Walt Whitman, Tennesse Williams, Virgina Woolf, Abraham Lincoln (bi) and my favorite Matt Bomer:) See what I’m talking about.? there would not be Gay culture nor Hollywood nor great music, Literature, poetry, design, and Eros, and the best trends, without our gay great geniuses. And you want to talk about being sore, and boner? No wonder we are the least respected and devalued population who still gets executed in some nations. Lets get our act together, and start a revolution, if Trump gets elected. We are Brilliant more than we can imagine.

Gay men are sexual creatures because men our sexual. OK, I’m Sex positive hiv negative. Every one of those tweets portrays gay life for some men, some where sometime. If my dogs don’t like a man neither do I.
mailliw110
Some of you seem to think that the longer the post, the smarter you are.
winemaker
You forgot to mention gay culture is for the most part shallow and superficial. Not to be negative her but as someone who’s been out for over 30 years I’ve experienced ageism and body shaming first hand (if you’re not someone’s type they’re rude and nasty for no reason). Even though I take good care of myself, eat right and don’t abuse my body and ‘am nice looking with a great personality, I still get attitude. Living in San Francisco, I’ve come to expect this, too many rude disrespectful gay men here who think it ‘s all about them and their S**T don’]t stink and who aren’t worth my time or energy. Funny and sad thing though, these guys usually end up all alone and bitch ‘why can’t I find a nice boyfriend’?
