OnlyFans creator Titus Low Kaide was arrested on December 30 in Singapore and charged with “transmitting obscene materials.”
The 22-year-old was charged with two counts of transmitting obscene materials via electronic means after police received reports he’d “transmitted images and videos of his private parts.”
After allegedly defying a police order not to access his account, he was also given a charge under the Criminal Procedure Code.
Low is believed to be the first OnlyFans creator arrested in Singapore, where the sale, distribution or possession of adult material is illegal. The country also outlaws gay sex of any kind.

The story has made national news, leaving other OnlyFans creators in the Asian country fearful they could be next.
Low spoke out about his arrest in a video he posted online, arguing, “We only create content for people who are our age and wish to have content they want to see. And all this is on the basis of everything is consensual.
“So we don’t force you to watch our content, we don’t force you to pay, it’s not open for public consumption, and if I don’t impede on your life and your lifestyle, to the person who reported me, why are you impeding in mine?

“’Til today, I don’t know who made the report, and I don’t know why. I mean, it’s OnlyFans. I have to create specific content for specific adults. We are both willing like buyer and seller,” he added.
In an interview with Mothership last October, Low acknowledged the risk in maintaining his OnlyFans presence.
“I don’t know how to tackle [the legal] situation, [and I’m] not even sure if it’s [legal] to do OnlyFans,” he said.
Low’s OnlyFans page, which reportedly netted him five figures a month, is currently inactive. His next hearing is scheduled for January 20, where he’ll face up to three months in jail and a fine for the two counts of transmitting obscene materials, and up to six months jail time and another fine for the Criminal Procedure Code charge.

It’s not that oppressive. A lot of the laws are common sense laws. People are happy there. Christians, Muslims, Jews, etc all live there peacefully which is more than I can say for other regimes.

I visited Singapore as a kid and it was a gorgeous city-state. It’s blown up even more since the late 1990s, and now there is obscene amounts of wealth centered there.
It’s a little bizarre though. The reason for all the money is because Singapore is where the corporate headquarters for all the companies colonizing and exploiting the rest of Asia are located.

I grew up in Singapore from ages 12-18 and I can say that it was and still is oppressive. The government knows there is a sizeable gay population there, but they still continue to outlaw it. Nudity in films was almost always cut out (although now they have a very strict film ratings system), but strangely, a man showing his ass in a film was always left in, lol! The government keeps a very tight reign on its people, and I have friends there who often feel very sufficated by it. On the positive side, there’s virtually no crime there at all. It’s also extremely clean.

It’s on him that he broke the laws. I agree that the laws are backwards and draconian, but it’s still the law of his country at this time. I hate his situation, but he knew how to stay out of trouble on this and he chose the money over his safety.

And it is very, very unlikely that the leadership there is uncorrupt given the amounts of money present in the upper classes and corporate entities there. Singapore is a fascist state and people who are willing to sacrifice liberties for clean streets, etc. are very happy there. It seems that the affluence leads some, especially young people, to forget how oppressive the government can be. It’s really a drag to be the one singled out in this type of system, but once it happens…. I hope he doesn’t get caned or suffer some other medieval punishment in addition to the other penalties.
The government isn’t going to change any time soon, so if he’s committed to his onlyfans career, I suggest he relocate at least temporarily. He likely has the means to do so.

Keep in mind that the reported 5 figures is in Singaporean currency, which is about $0.75 per US dollar, so it may only be 4 figures. That’s still enormous, of course, for little more than posing and jerking off. But you have to remember where his fan base is. It’s Asia, and more specifically, Singapore. Unlike Westerners, they do not have easy access to free porn, especially male-based or gay porn. So such material comes at a premium. Older people here may remember when gay porn magazines and VHS tapes also cost a premium, often more than $20 — and that’s in late 70’s/early 80’s prices. About the only positive thing about their country is religious freedom. But that comes at a huge price. there is essentially no other freedom of expression of any sort. You either act like everyone else or get savagely put down.

Under President Trump many policies that involved over regulation were abandoned. And lets not forget former President Clinton’s initiative Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell that banned gays and lesbians from serving in the military. I served in the Army during Viet Nam and every unit I was assigned to from Basic training on had openly gay servicemen. This included Basic Trainees, NCO’s and yes Officers. And it wasn’t the Stonewall Democratic Club who successfully had it over turned in the courts but instead the Log Cabin Republicans that pursued the matter. Only after it was over turned did President Obama push for its legislative repeal. With said legislation DADT implementation was delayed for over a year as opposed to the several branches of the military implementing the repeal immediately. The Democrats want you under their thumb, otherwise they can not control your life both socially and economically.
