Remembering how different life used to be. Iâm often called âMiss Memory Laneâ by my closest friends due to the fact that I always look at old photos hoping to relive the memory. But what Iâm finally realizing is that I canât and wouldnât want to go back to that headspace ever again. So clouded and unsure about myself, my life, my privacy, my mental health. Iâm finally in a position where I can say Iâm the happiest Iâve ever been. Iâve accomplished so much with so little and my smile is finally not forced. Iâve taken control of my own life for the first time and wonât ever let anyone silence me or my passions ever again. Iâm finally free. Iâm successful. Iâm independent. Iâm still short but that wonât change lol. I think Iâm funny even if others donât haha. But most of allâŚIâm outspoken.
Donât be afraid to seek help. There are so many people out there who put their jobs first and their mental health lastâŚand trust meâŚit will creep up on you.”
â Colton Haynes, discussing how his mental health has improved over the years in an essay for PEOPLE magazine

Yup it’s true, mental health can really catch up with you, especially in this national climate of ignorance and stress aimed at gay people. A good therapist and Support groups are great. If we took care of our thoughts and emotions as well as we took care of our bodies imagine what shape the world could be in.
kudos to you for taking on a difficult sitch. I did it, I am out of the woods now and never felt better. I highly recommend great mental health care.

Mr. Haynes, at 5′ 9″ you are one half inch shorter than the US national average. I am not sure I would say you were short, but you are of average height. Given your incredible good looks and talent, I suggest being merely average in something, particularly as unimportant as height, is such a bad deal.

Is this repost/promo in response to a backlash to Mr. Haynes “I’ll show you my tits” IG post that of course was run here.

Queerty is the equivalent of British and American tabloids. Some information, some beefcake and some “stuff”.
It’s never going to change and maybe it’s time to take your negativity elsewhere.

@scotshot: Seriously. The whining and b!tch!ng gets VERY tiresome.
Kudos to Colton for raising mental health awareness by sharing his story.

He needs an entertaining hobby to take his mind off things and to focus on being in the moment having fun.
