One of the year’s most buzzed about movies, The Canyons had a long, and well-documented production that included a Kickstarter campaign and a now legendary New York Times article detailing the ups and downs of its lead actress, Lindsay Lohan. Through all the drama and the scandal, director Paul Schraeder brought his and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis’ vision to fruition and in the process, a star is born — namely, straight porn star James Deen, making his mainstream film debut alongside Lohan. As if that wasn’t enough, we found a few more reasons to obsess over The Canyons.

– James Deen kissed a boy and frankly, he didn’t mind it.

This is not a gay story, Lohan has basically said that her relationship with the woman was a needy thing and she is actually straight. The porn star is straight etc… And yet we have seen multiple articles on this trainwreck.
Sorry, people keep trying to say Lohan is a good actress, but if you look at “Freaky Friday”, “Mean Girls”, not to mention “Georgia Rule”, “I know who killed me” etc… she is playing the exact same character. The voice, tone, and attitude is the same, the expressions are the same, the responses are the same. Even her appearance on “Ugly Betty” was pretty much exactly the same.
She just doesn’t seem to have any range.
