6 GIFs From An Ad Deemed Too Hot For Slovak TV

According to Reddit, a popsicle commercial was nearly banned from television in Slovakia due to the exploitative nature of the ad. Apparently the men were too hot for consumers to handle. Below are a few of the key moments that may have turned ice into cream for some.

Okay, this last one may have been part of the problem. Though, it’s just something you’d see on Broadway Bares.

Watch the ad below and let us know what you think. Is it too racy or not racy enough? Either way, would you buy the product?

There is nothing too that ad. Sure people would complain, but they dont have lives. That ad would be VERY popular with women in the USA and we all know that is all advertisers care about is women. Hell, Macy’s only cares about women as well. It takes an hour to get to the men’s department in that store.

The bathing in milk was a little much.

    NOT FOR ME… I’m just… you know… it’s… hot…

I’m sorry, what were they selling again?

  • greybat

    Very Summery!

  • offbeatoh86

I know I should be ogling the hot man flesh, but did anyone else notice the rabbit in the fifth GIF?

  • Katbox

Why can’t guys like this pop up in the gay pride photos?

  • fredo777

@offbeatoh86: “but did anyone else notice the rabbit in the fifth GIF?”

No, I didn’t. I was a bit distracted. I’m very, very into milk.

  • Cam

So was the ad banned or was the ad nearly banned?

  • balehead

The complaints were probably from the same jealous that are usually on here complaining about hawt guys…

  • richybruce

Banned? I’d create an entire new channel and run it on a loop.

  • scoobydube

This ad would NOT even raise an eyebrow here in the states. One must remember that the people in the ‘former’ Eastern European countries are STILL living in the ‘prehistoric’ ages. ROTFLMFAO …………….

  • Sammy Schlipshit

@offbeatoh86: Not until you pointed it out….

  • Larry

Disagree, maybe eastern Europe but most of Europe as a whole has legalized Gay Marriage. They are 5-10 years ahead of the USA.

  • Vegas Tearoom

Mrozh IS PEEEEOPLE!!! (and I want to eat ’em all!)

  • blkluvla

Sure I’d buy the product, if I could remember what it was. After all that hunky meat, I forget.

Not specifically about this ad, but has anyone noticed how Queerty in general is rather “undiversified?” People of color generally lacking? Or am I mistaken?

  • LubbockGayMale

So, what was the product, exactly? Creamy ice cream, and where do you get the cream?

  • dvsBTM

Not raise any eyebrows you eh? I bet One Million Moms would go to war with this ad…

The problem is that it’s nekkid men! Women are portrayed this way ALL the time. ALL. THE. TIME!!!

  • Alan down in Florida

    Weren’t they perfectly waxed?

  • Matt1961

mmm I want ‘ice cream’ lol We need ads like that here in the US.

  • Jirka

Actually this ad is from the Czech republic (where I live). I don’t know if it’s banned in Slovakia (which is our neighbour), but in here we can still see these hot guys in TV :)

And about the gay marriage. Well, we have something called “registered partnership”, which is for gays and lesbians. These “registered partners” don’t have the same benefits as husband and wife. For example if one of the partners is in hospital, doctors can’t say his medical records to the registered partner, but they can to husband/wife. It’s not 100% equality (yet), but it’s better than nothing.

    @Jirka: Hello Jirka.
    Good to hear from you.
We in the states are on a roll with our most recent successes.
Glad to hear the Czech Republic seems to be following the USA lead and not the Russians. Keep up the good work.
    Stay safe.
    Regards, your American pal, Sammy.

I was just watching a documentary on Slovakia. They were the first country to enthusiastically deport their Jewish population. When Berlin refused more they actually paid the Germans to take the rest. However, this is the stuff that finally offends them??
