Elmer Confresi, 23, turned himself into police becoming the eighth of nine suspects apprehended in New York City’s brutal gay bashing attack against two teens and one adult that involved sodomy with a broom handle, lit cigarettes to the nipple, and a box cutter. Ruddy Vargas-Perez, 22 (pictured), remains at large. Says NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly: “The seven individuals that we have in custody initially, there’s an eighth one now, have made statements, video confessions or statements concerning their acts involving this case, but I wouldn’t characterize it as remorse.”

Terrific, no remorse will bring heavier sentences. I look forward to it. They are not rehabilitatable. Dump them in a cell and leave them there.

Maybe they don’t think remorse is necessary. NYPD do have form as regards sodomy with a broom handle, so maybe the suspects think that they’re amongst friends.
I’d like to see the same broom handle used to smash every finger on each of those bastards hands.

‘Sesame Street’ has done a great job teaching kids at an early age that a person’s race doesn’t matter. Would it be asking too much if these educational programs also taught children that a person’s sexual orientation doesn’t matter either?

Not only will these teens be subject to the “hospitality” of the elder guests of the prison they will be sentenced to, one of them made a statement “I can do five, no problem”. Problem is that for starters the charges they face include some with a term of 25 years………
