This is sweet. News correspondent James Longman found himself in the English seaside city of Brighton over the weekend. The British reporter, who tends to report on foreign news for ABC, says the first gay bar he ever visited still lies in the city.
He says he went there when he was 18, and it’s where he enjoyed his first kiss with another man.

In a video on Instagram, he points out the bar to viewers. It’s now called Charles Street Tap but Longman says he can’t remember the name when he went all those years ago. He recalls that fateful visit.
How about we take this to the next level?

“I was really nervous. I went with my friend Tanya. And I saw a guy. And he had short blond hair. He had like frosted tips. And I remember he seemed so old to me. He was like old enough to be my granddad or something. Probably younger than I am now,” adds Longman, 35, in hindsight.
“Anyway, we had a little kiss and our teeth scraped together. That’s the main thing I remember from that experience!”
Besides his work as a correspondent, reporting from war zones such as Ukraine and parts of the Middle East, Longman recently made headlines for getting hitched.
A couple of years ago, a video of him proposing to his then-boyfriend, Alex Brannan, went viral. The men married in a small service at Marylebone Registry Office, London, in July.

Do you remember your first gay kiss and where it took place?
Diplomat
That was exceptionally cool. It’s blurry as to my first gay kiss, but with my first blow job my knees buckled and I hit the floor. Lesson learned: never stand up for your first blow job.

LOL!

I don’t remember my first kiss but I DO remember the first one that actually meant something.

I don’t particularly remember it but I’m sure it was in some rest area on the side of the highway somewhere. They were acceptable back then. When the bars closed, the places would fill up! There was no AIDS, just a bunch of horned normal guys looking to get off. You’d actually meet a lot of nice guys there too. Times were very different back then. Nothing to worry about except slipping and falling when you were running to your car when the police chased you out. It was all fun back then. The music, the bars. Of course, that was 48 years ago for me. How everything has changed for the worse.

First gay kiss?
– On a piano bench
– Age 33
– In the sanctuary
– Of a midwestern Baptist church
My date, a friend of a friend, had talked about running sound, being a singer, having a key, during my first-ever outing to a gay bar. So, what else were a singer & pianist to do after grabbing Chinese on a Friday evening, than go to an otherwise dark church to test the acoustics?

I’ve watched him cover everything from the wedding of Harry and Megan to Prince Phillip’s funeral, to the Queen’s 70th Jubilee, to being in the war zone in Ukraine…..and every time I see him on the TV news, I run to my TV and start licking the screen…..I’m simply mad about the boy.

He’s hot as hell.

That’s easy. It’s with a priest.
