Former Glee star Mark Salling was arrested this morning in Los Angeles for investigation of possessing child pornography.
The 33-year-old actor was cuffed and taken into custody after a warrant was served at his home in the Sunland, CA area.
Salling was investigated by the LAPD’s internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
He is best known for starring as bad-boy Noah “Puck” Puckerman on TV’s Glee, which ran on Fox from 2009 until 2015.

He shared a Screen Actors Guild award with the cast in 2010, when they won for outstanding TV comedy ensemble.
Salling is also a musician and released his debut album “Pipe Dreams” in 2010.
According to People Magazine:
“He was taken into custody this morning for possession of child porn,” Officer Aaron Jefferson of the Los Angeles Police Department tells PEOPLE.
The actor is getting booked in downtown L.A.”
TMZ adds:
Our sources say an ex-girlfriend of Salling’s tipped off cops and they investigated before the raid to make sure it wasn’t a revenge allegation.
Salling has had his share of legal problems. In 2013 he was sued by a woman who claimed he committed sexual battery on her by forcing sex without a condom. Salling denied the charge and the case settled.
According to TMZ, “hundreds of images were found on Saling’s computer of “children…younger than 15 and 16 year old.”

Considering how nasty LA types are when they wanna be famous I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a RAT on his computer and doesn’t even know it’s there. Someone could’ve easily dropped a bunch of kiddie porn on his pc and then had this ex report it. The person who did it wouldn’t even be involved in the investigation.
Honestly I don’t see why a celeb would have kiddie porn sitting on a pc waiting for someone to find it. He’s pretty active and open on social media even admitting he uses hair relaxer to straighten his hair. Seems a little odd and unlike someone who would be hiding a secret like that.

@Jim Robert: how do you know that there are not black children being exploited in this way? typically they tend to be of low income and from a family in disarray. furthermore since it is difficult to shoot these,many are traded or sold..average 300 times. so the child (black?) is victimized over and over..sometimes showing up as a photo 20 years later. this is child abuse not just pornography. There is no excuse at all for anyone to have this kind of crap on a computer, photo album or anywhere else. They’re not cursed and they should spend life in prison for anything like this at all. If he is guilty and I say if because it could have been a revenge thing, but if he is guilty he deserves to be sent to prison period for the rest of his life. Unless you have been involved in anyway with child abuse that goes into this child porn or being raped or hurt by someone that is into this perversion you have no clue what it does to the child at the time it happens and afterwards. This is wrong on every level period no matter who does it. Looking at the pictures and keeping them is just as bad almost as the acts themselves. No justification for this crime at all none. There has always been an age that we mature and anyone below the age of 18 in my opinion should not be touched, thought about being touched in a sexual way by anyone over the age of 18.
