I love Adele but she is full of crap. I think it’s just nervous energy prompting her to say this stuff. And that jag about how Beyoncé won the Grammy and not her…..cringeworthy. I think she’s shy and trying to be all modest but it comes off as phony.

These entertainers and singers need to some saying things like this, because 9 times out of 10 we find that it’s not true. She’s been touring for two years. Just say, “It’s been great, but now I’m going to take a little break. I’m tired.” They always say it’s their final tour and that’s that, then they come back. As evident in the comments, no one buys that anymore. Empty words.

Yes she has earned a huge amount from touring and album sales – she’s also earned way more because she writes her own material and earns money every time her songs are played on the radio/streamed/used in a tv commercial.
She’s damaged her voice – so she cancelled her last two concerts – simply as that.

I don’t see where you claim my mind isn’t made up. I stated that her letter was to sell more tickets by acting as if it’s the final time you’ll see this lady perform. Then, if true, her voice gets damaged unexpectedly and she has to cancel – thus offering refunds, but I’m sure she’ll reschedule these dates at a later date and charge more money.
