Adele To Appear As Comic Book Villainess In New Movie With Elton John And David Beckham

Adele-with-Elton-JohnPost-breakup music icon Adele is in talks to make her film debut as a villainess in an action movie for British director Matthew Vaughn, that will reportedly feature appearances by Elton John and David Beckham, according to The Guardian.

The film is an adaptation of The Secret Service, a graphic novel by Mark Millar, the Scottish author whose previous work Kick-Ass, was also helmed by Vaughn, who hopes to also turn this film into a franchise. He’s already lined up a cast of British veterans including Colin Firth and Michael Caine, as well as Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.

While Adele is being sought for a villainous character, a source tells The Sun that Sir Elton’s cameo will require him to partake in a violent fight scene. We all know this should come easily to the superstar entertainer. Just ask Madonna.

Kick-Ass is hilarious, this looks excellent too. Great combination.

I’m almost tempted to wake up my partner to tell him about this (he’s a huge comic book geek, seriously, we could remodel both our bathrooms and our kitchen with what his collection is worth). I can’t wait.
