Adore Delano Hosts A “Funderland” Tea Party In New “Party” Video

140501_4619RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up Adore Delano is going through a colorful Katy Perry phase in her latest music video for “Party”, the third hit single from her record-breaking debut album Till Death Do Us Party.

Delano became the first Drag Race alum to appear on the iTunes Dance chart last month, enjoying a stay at the number one spot above Mariah Carey and Iggy Azalea (#11 on the iTunes chart overall, #59 on the Billboard 200) following the release of her first two singles “DTF” and “I Adore U“. The song in her latest video, an ode to being young and breaking all the rules set to an “Alice in Funderland theme,” is available for purchase on iTunes today.

“It’s a fun, catchy summer pop song”, she says, reminding everyone that the songs on Till Death Do Us Party are based on life experiences. “’Party’ was inspired by high school and all my friends doing things we shouldn’t have been doing. The guy at the liquor store by my house thought I was a hot chick so he would sell me alcohol and cigarettes and I would give them out to all my friends.”
