RuPaul’s Drag Race sensation Alaska Thunderfuck will host “The Hookies: The 9th Annual International Escort Awards,” along with comedian Brad Loekle, on Friday, March 20th at The OutNYC Hotel (516 West 42nd St).
Presented by Rentboy.com, the world’s largest male escort site, The Hookies celebrates the best in the male escort industry with awards in 17 categories including Best Newcomer, Best Daddy and the night’s top prize, Mr. International Escort 2015. In addition, The Hookies is the official opening event for BPX: Black Party Expo Weekend.
“All people who work hard for their money should be admired,” says Alaska Thunderfuck from Los Angeles, where she is currently on tour. “Escorts, especially, because they provide a really important service to the world. It’s a calling. Like a nun! But the opposite: cause they’re getting and giving some.”
Since becoming a breakout star on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alaska has toured all over the earth, performing on the RuPaul’s Drag Race Battle of the Seasons tour, the Drag Stars at Sea cruises, and recent stage productions of “Sex In The City” and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

Alaska has also appeared in fashion ads for American Apparel and starred in three original music videos (“Your Makeup Is Terrible”, “Ru Girl”, and “Nails”) and the weekly web series “Bro’Laska,” with her brother Cory Binney.
Alaska says Hookies contestants have a lot in common with the girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race: “We use the same amount of mascara and body oil.”
The award she is most looking forward to presenting is the prize for Best Bottom. “The world needs more of them,” she says. “They are doing God’s work.”
Many of the biggest porn stars will be joining Alaska Thunderfuck and Brad Loekle at this year’s Hookies. Some of the bold-faced names confirmed to attend include Rocco Steele, Boomer Banks, Austin Wolf, Mike DeMarko, Trenton Ducati, and Tommy Defendi. Michael Musto, Chi Chi LaRue, Jack Mackenroth, and Mr. Pam will also be on hand as presenters.
