America’s Next National Organization for Marriage Model: Miss California Carrie Prejean

carrieprejeanrockchurch

Oh this is gonna be good! And we’re already drooling for the parodies. The National Organization for Marriage — the gay hating organization headed by Maggie Gallagher — is enlisting Miss California Carrie Prejean as the star of its next ad campaign, supposedly pegged at $1.5 million.

The “Gathering Storm” follow up will be called “No Offense,” taken directly from Prejean’s sad Miss USA question-and-answer segment. From the release: “She is attacked viciously for having the courage to speak up for her truth and her values. But Carrie’s courage inspired a whole nation and a whole generation of young people because she chose to risk the Miss USA crown rather than be silent about her deepest moral values.” The ad will call out “gay marriage advocates to account for their unwillingness to debate the real issue: gay marriage has consequences.”

Spreading lies and hate speech? Apparently no consequences!

We’re picturing an Andy Warhol-esque motif for Prejean’s NOM spot. Or maybe a spin on Mac vs. PC!
