The “Things That Are Awesome Files” just caught fire trying to hold a candle to this: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are hosting the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The funny ladies are only the second team to tackle the hosting duties, Deadline reports, and will take over for Ricky Gervais, who has boozed his way through the show for the past three years.
“Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year’s festivities is a major coup,” said Paul Telegdy, NBC President of Alternative and Late Night Programming. “Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in Baby Mama.”
So on a scale of excited, where are we? 1 being last year’s Oscars and 10 being this.
