Ancient Homosexual + Transgender Canadians Plan to Squat In Vacant Church

St. John’s United Church in Halifax (a city named for the ancient technology used to transmit documents over the telephone line) has stood empty for two years, and now some do-gooders are moving ahead with a plan to turn it into a LGBT seniors facility called Spirit Place. Yes, only queer seniors will be allowed to live there, which will save money on having to create separate shower facilities for heterosexuals, because you know how cagey they get.
