We’ve always considered blonde horse-faced pundit Ann Coulter to be among the world’s most obnoxious people, but we forgot all about Adam Carolla (of The Man Show and Love Line). The other day Ann was to appear on Adam’s radio show but called in an hour and a half late. He was none too pleased. A brief transcript:
ADAM CAROLLA: Ann Coulter, who was suppose to be on the show about an hour and a half ago, is now on the phone, as well. Ann?
ANN COULTER: Hello.
CAROLLA: Hi Ann. You’re late, babydoll.
COULTER: Uh, somebody gave me the wrong number.
CAROLLA: Mmm… how did you get the right number? Just dialed randomly – eventually got to our show? (Laughter in background)
COULTER: Um, no. My publicist e-mailed it to me, I guess, after checking with you.
CAROLLA: Ahh, I see.
COULTER: But I am really tight on time right now because I already had a –
CAROLLA: Alright, well, get lost.
That is so funny that we’re almost ready to forgive Adam for always asking gay callers to Love Line if they were molested as children.

Why are liberals so quick so censor/cut off conservatives? If they say Ann’s arguments are fascistic and racist, then shouldn’t they be easy to deconstruct? Why can’t they address her arguments?

One thing I noticed since this whole thing started is that conservatives claim that liberals will attach Ann for her looks and that they name call but honestly if you have read as many of these blogs as I have you notice its about 50/50 as far as name calling goes. From what I has seen so far Ann is pretty good at name calling herself. Because I have read so many of these blogs that I have seen people attack her science and I have to say they do a damn good job of it. Honestly I dont think the people she writes about in her books even exsist at least I hacve never met one of them. I just picked up John Dean’s book myself and plan on reading that.

What you said about Loveline isn’t fair. He and Drew asked EVERYBODY if they were molested or abused. Because if you’re screwed up enough to call a radio show for sex advice, there’s a 90% chance that you WERE.
And to the ananann commenter above: you’re right, many liberals do find it difficult to deconstruct such nuanced arguments as “Liberals are evil and stupid.” That Ann is quite a debater. And perhaps people wouldn’t attack her looks if she didn’t keep writing about how much more attractive she is than Democratic women.

Addam wasn’t even going to argue with her, he said repeatedly that he agreed with a lot of the things she said. He was just angry that she hadn’t shown up the day before and was very late this time and to top it off she started with “I’m very busy” meaning that if she stayed she’d be there for very little and Addam (if you listen to his show often you’d know this) doesn’t have patience for things like this. He’s not a “liberal” by any means so I’m not sure why everyone’s seeing this as a left vs. right thing. It’s just Addam mad at a guest who just didn’t want to be there (this happens all the time).

Coulter and her crowd of pseudo-Americans have successfully taken Jesus out of the Christianity, as did the theocracies in Europe who killed 30 million ‘witches’ from 1600 through 1800. These were right-wing Christians.
You may not see her as a fascist; neither did the 20 million Germans who blindly followed Hitler see him that way. Hitler was a right wing Christian. ‘Liberals’ now represent the nearly 85% of Americans by Coulters own definition of those that do not completely agree with her.
Do politics, hate and fear guide your view of other Americans or even friends, neighbors and family? Persecution, hate mongering, anger, fear, self righteousness, slander and name calling are all signs of weakness of mind. Power seeking and greed driven people know that there are always a fair percentage of xenophobes and haters who are searching for a strong leader that allows them to justify their weak minded thinking.
If liberals (everyone that is not a right-winger) seem stupid and unorganized to you it’s because they do not follow anyone blindly. They are open-minded and consider all opinions before coming to their own. They possess the mental strengths of love, compassion, kindness and generosity. This is how most humans want to live. These are the mental strengths that really solve problems. They were strong enough to bring down the Roman Empire.
A real Christian knows Jesus who is the only person that has ever lived worthy of your following. Anyone who has read the New Testament knows the right-wingers are truly the Godless ones. Right-wing Christian is an oxymoron. I guarantee you I could expose Coulter’s or any right-wingers hypocrisy in a fair debate and win hands down. Most of them never read the Bible or know more than two Amendments of the Bill of Rights.
In truth, Coulter is not evil, nor does she even believe in the stuff she writes. She is a clever writer simply targeting weak minded thinkers and convincing them that they are superior. This sells books and makes her lots of money. Normal people are mad at her for this because this crap is weakening our country by creating a divide among us which weakens our ability to solve the real problems facing this nation.
I for one am prepared to fight to the death to rid this great country of any extreme right-wing or left-wing attempt to take this country over.

Just to briefly correct the asinine assertions in the foregoing article: Carolla did NOT ask every gay caller on Loveline if they were molested as children. He did, however, when presented with teenagers who manifested obvious emotional traumas and loudly proclaimed their preferance at an age when nobody is entirely secure in their sexuality, prod a little to try and uncover the obvious abuse or neglect history that fostered such a mindset. It is absolutely ridiculous for the homosexual lobby (and I’m a registered socialist, so I have no pathos for the religious right whatsoever) to essentially force children who have been mistreated and whose sexual and emotional identities have been almost irreversibly scrambled, to immerse themselves in a community that supports their pathological behavior rather than seeking psychological counseling. Homosexuality itself was a recognized psychiatric illness until 1976, when gay activists finally forced the APA to expunge it from the DSM, and it has been a known fact within the mental health community that these behaviors, particularly when they manifest at an extremely young age, are often derivative of abuse histories. To deny that these people exist do them an extraordinary disservice, and to force them into a culture where they don’t belong may scar them permanently. That’s the message that Carolla and Pinsky have always striven to convey, but apparently your myopia has clouded your ability to deduce that.
