Ian Paisley Jr. “did nothing wrong” when he said gays harm society. Ireland’s Committee on Standards and Privileges claims Paisley’s remarks “do not constitute a breach of the Assembly’s members’ code of conduct,” according to BBC.
The privileged politico caused a stir when he told Hot Press magazine he’s repulsed by gays and lesbians, leading to the internal investigation.
Though offensive to millions of ‘mos, the Irish government apparently doesn’t think it’s offensive enough to warrant a censure – or anything else.
Ah, the sweet smell of “justice”.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Little Ian is much more than just superstitious bigoted lout. He and his daddy, Ian Paisley Sr. are leaders of an organization that is more criminal mob than political party. The DUP (
Democratic Unionist Party, about as democratic as our Democratic Party) and their associated English colonialist groups are pro-capitalist, anti-gay, anti-Irish, pro-colonialist, misogynist, and racist, etc. If it’s bad they’re for it and if it’s good they don’t like it one little bit.
They aren’t simply superstitious christian lunatics and compulsive haters and we ignore them to our peril. I called them a mob because they engage in murder on a huge scale, often with the aid of English security, police and military forces. Most of their victims are Irish civilians and resistance fighters, but they are beginning to target gays for harassment and beatings and a couple of the young men recently murdered may have been victims of antigay bigotry.
The Paisleys and their gangsters organize job, housing and other forms of discrimination to create a system where the Irish, in Ireland, are used as an underpaid underclass to the benefit of capitalist enterprises owned by a foreign power(guess which foreign power). They also discriminate against women, and of course, against gays.
They should not be ignored; they should be fought tooth and nail, “By Any Means Necessary†as Malcolm X said.

“the Irish government apparently doesn’t think it’s offensive enough to warrant a censure – or anything else.”
Erm why would they – they have no jurisdiction over Northern Ireland. “Ireland” as in the island is two countries, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Ian Paisley Jnr is a member of the Northern Ireland Assembly, which is a devolved part of the UK like Scotland and Wales.
As to Bill Purdue comments the 30 yers of “The Troubles” in Northern Ireland were down to political and ethno-religious strife and if he cares to look at the unbiased, cross community CAIN website by the University of Ulster the statistics show that IRA Republicans / (overwhelmingly Roman Catholics ) were responsible for 64% of all deaths during the troubles. He will also find the standard of living (for everyone)in Northern Ireland was and is much higher than the UK average.
“often with the aid of English security, police and military forces.” interpretation – that would be the British Army (comprised of english, welsh, scots and ulster/irish)and the locally recruited police service of Northern Ireland.

Well…
a man finds homosexuality repulsive.
The man says out loud, “I find homosexuality repulsive.”
You might agree with him, you might disagree with him, but for god’s sake, you need a “Committee on Standards and Privilege” to investiage? George Orwell is turning in his grave. May he rest in peace.
