Hundreds of LGBT supporters rallied in Kiev onWorld Human Rights Day to protest a law that would ban gay “propaganda,” in essence any positive depiction of homosexuality from films to Pride marches.
“We came out to protest against the draft law which restricts my personal rights, human rights in general and freedom of the press,” said on demonstration. But anti-gay counterprotestors attempted to break up the demonstration by releasing gas into the crowd.
Several arrests were made.
The anti-gay propaganda bill handily cleared its first reading in the Ukrainian parliament in October. Just last week, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of neighboring Russia said his country has no plan for a nationwide ban.
How about we take this to the next level?

I want to kick the AP every time I read the word “Anti-Gay” in place of “Homophobic”.
