Mission America’s ever-charming Linda Harvey (right) has penned her latest unseemly screed on WorldNetDaily, this time lamenting that Religious Right activists such as herself are running out of places to shop — because they’ve boycotted pro-LGBTQ businesses.
She writes:
“Well, it’s that time again — time to get out the Christmas list and start hitting the stores. The problem is — what stores? For any Christian who wants to spend hard-earned dollars with family-friendly, Christian-affirming retailers, restaurants and service providers, the list is growing shorter all the time.”
She then forcefully advises readers to avoid the following stores: Macy’s, Target, Walmart, and JC Penney.
And to avoid products by Mattel, Levi-Strauss, and General Mills.

Harvey claims that companies that posted high scores on the Human Right Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index are frolicking at “Satan’s Office Party” and joining “the nation’s leading self-declared enemies of Christians.”
Avoiding all of the above companies might be difficult, she knows, but otherwise, the risk is that opponents of LGBTQ rights might inadvertently adopt “anti-American, pro-deviance legislation.”
Think, she writes, “about the grave harm homosexuality is doing to American culture, to our schools, to our freedoms, to our churches.”

problem is so many companies are linked together. that even if you do find one that you think fits your view. no matter what it is. chances are thats not the entire story. one million moms was mad about the soup ad. but campbells makes v-8. rjr. the company that makes camels also owns nabisco. coke and pepsi both own popular bottled water brands and sports drink’s. so chances are you can be offended by anything move on people

How come she is on a computer then, Microsoft and Apple both are LGBT confirming. Also, Dell, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, etc. What about driving, oh yes I am sure she is walking because all major car manufacturers have LGBT protections on the books. Then there is shopping for food, most all major retailers and grocers have LGBT protections as well, guess they must be growing their own food. How do they get their utilities, gas, water, electricity? There are a lot of utility companies that they can’t use either, must have wind and solar. Then there is internet, with the providers of HSI dwindling as they are buying each other up, they must be feeling the pinch. TWC, Cox, Charter Communications, Optimum to name just a couple all have LGBT protections. What about cell service? All cell companies in the US have LGBT protections. Even if they go with a pay as you go service, they are still indirectly paying the 4 major boys.
These people are all for their boycotts until it hits them where they need it most. I don’t see any of them giving up their computers, cell phones or internet. Their threats are hollow and are only self serving to make themselves feel like they are doing something, which they are not! Shame on these people for using a religion in this way. It is making baby Jesus cry and pissing God the hell off!

Asininity can be defined as the ‘tasteless salt’ of Matthew 5:13…You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how will it be made salty again? It is good for nothing anymore, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.
