Politico reports that the homophobic Florida lawmaker has tested positive for coronavirus. The news comes shortly after it was reported that White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, has also tested positive for the virus.
It appears a second wave of COVID might be sweeping through Trumpland.

Gaetz, won his reelection effort with 63% of the vote this week, drew negative criticism back in March when he made a spectacle of wearing a gas mask on the House floor to mock liberals who were worried about coronavirus.
Days later, he had to quarantine after coming into contact with someone who later tested positive for the virus. Gaetz ended up testing negative then. Now, it appears his luck has run out.
Matt Gaetz just tested positive for covid so now we get to see how the virus handles itself while drunk.

I totally agree. When you think about it, the timing of Dump “catching” Covid was waaaaaayyyyyy too coincidental, even convenient with the election less than a month away. Yes, I know many people in the White House and that attended Dump’s super spreader events around that time tested positive. Doesn’t mean Dump did.
I do believe he needed to be taken to Walter Reed for legitimate reasons. He pretty clearly seemed to be struggling for breath after walking up the stairs upon returning to the White House JUST 3 days later. He may have had a cardio event or issue or a panic attack or some mental breakdown.
It isn’t like he hasn’t lied before.

I really hope Gaetz, Meadows, and the rest of the newly diagnosed Republican Trump-enablers get the more disabling effects of COVID. sure, Trump will no longer be president. but they need a good lesson of the reality of how bad it can be and not to make light of its seriousness.
they need to pay heavily for their neglect. and getting a government-paid treatment that is part of their benefits shouldn’t be their reward.

It’s poetic justice that a second wave of COVID is currently sweeping the White House. I have zero sympathy for any of the Dumpsters. HOWEVER, I am really worried about the maids, butlers and all the other people who work inside the White House and who are not protected from these idiots who refuse to wear masks. I hope they are alright and holding up well. Hang in there folks. Only a few weeks left and you’re have a sane family to work for.
