Rumors that Queer Eye co-hosts Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness are boyfriends have been swirling for a while. Now, those rumors can be be confirmed. At least, according to Karamo Brown.
Last night, the Fab Five appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, during which Van Ness posted a backstage photo of himself and Porowski. In the background Brown can be seen giving the camera the finger.
In the comments, Brown writes: “I love you both! And for all who are asking. It’s real. They are a couple and in love. First Fab 5 couple.”
Of course, it could all be an elaborate joke. There’s a chance the guys are just having fun and drumming up publicity for the latest season of Queer Eye.

Earlier this month, an entire Instagram account dedicated to pictures of Porowski and Van Ness together, including several shirtless pics and bathroom selfies, was created.

Telling a gay man that he should not be “so queeny” after a certain age shows how ignorant you are and why there are so many self loathing LGBT people. You must be one too.
People should be themselves and not have to “fit” a stupid expectation of what “a man” should look, act like. Get over yourself. Same goes to @thisisnotreal, she needs some reality check too. Get a life.

Sounds like there are some bitter Betty’s on here who don’t have a man and are jealous that JVN does. Being queer means being getting to be yourself, whatever that means. JVN doesn’t need to ‘butch it up’ just to make you feel more comfortable with your internalized homophobia. If we expect straights to accept us, then we need to learn acceptance within our own community. He’s definitely more flamboyant than I am but I love that he’s so comfortable with himself, and he’s hilarious and also quite handsome.
If this is real, I’m surprised because Antoni seems quite uptight on the show, but maybe he’s getting more open to things. I am happy for them both if they are happy and I wish them the best and a long relationship in the future. I hope it doesn’t turn ugly if they end up breaking up, though, because that will make it very difficult to work together on the show in the future. Good luck, gents.

Peter Pan should grow up and do what? Wear a suit? Get a degree in some kind of administrative role and be as miserable as you are?
JVN is professionally queer. His appearance lends credibility to his work of showing people how to express themselves and take Pride (note the capital P) in their appearance. Your comments on appearance would be applicable if his goal were to be an IRS auditor or an office manager at Northrop Grumman, but there are non-conservative workplaces and plenty of both Gen X and Millenials have found ways to be successful without compromising their freedom of expression.

Also Antoni better improve his cooking skills. He could be a celebrity chef. Better known for his skills than his looks and sexuality which is bad to be known for. Also I want to see a gay Gordon Ramsey that is better than the original.

The original Queer eye I didn’t like because of Carson Priestly..now this new one its Jonathan..why must they insist one one over the top screaming queen ? Yeah I feel horrible but I can’t watch him either, he makes me want to crawl out of my skin. I’m really pretty ok with nelliness in general, that’s not the issue. I could never put my finger on what my beef was until I did tune in to episode 1 of the current season, and finally figured it out: HE’S A CHEERLEADER. That was his identity all through high school, and it took root and never left. He’s like those grown women who crowd around tables in wine bars with their gaudy purses and constantly shriek, like they’re doing cheers in a high school gym. They never, ever grow up. Syrupy, saccharine sweet and princesses in their own fairytale. That’s him! It’s not the queeny thing, it’s the cheerleader thing.
