We’ve never had the pleasure of seeing The Worst Witch, but we’re loving the 1987 movie’s Tim Curry sung song, “Anything Can Happen On Halloween”. Many thanks to the anonymous reader who sent us this bit of campy joy.

Our toddler son thought that was fun. He will be Batman tonight.

Anyone doubting whether or not Halloween is the gay national holiday should watch this!!

Um, I totally watched this movie hundreds of times when I was a little girl. I think this movie was originally made for HBO. The movie is just as good as Tim Curry’s song, but this was definitely the highlight of the whole movie. The movie starred Fairuza Balk (who later starred in “The Craft”, coincidence?). God I want to find this movie on DVD! I met Fairuza Balk when I was 16 in NYC (randomly) and made sure to profess my love of this movie to her! It was the highlight of my life…sadly.

Definitely one of my favorite movies from childhood. This had regular rotation. Great to see this scene finally getting the recognition it deserves!

Oh my god- totally remember this.
Fairuza was so cute.
