Armie Hammer: “You sit down with some people and they’ll ask you a question about the movie and you go, ‘Oh my god, I never even considered that. Wow! What a great, great take!’ But then also you sit down with people who ask you dumb questions and you’re like, ‘Oh, you really went to the base level of . . . O.K., fine, sure.'”
Vanity Fair: They’re like, ‘What robe do you wear during the nude scene?’ or something…
AH: “Yeah, like, ‘How was it when Timmy had to grab your crotch?’ I’m like, we’re making a movie, what are you talking about? These guys are in love. Like, shut up.”
— Armie Hammer in an interview with Vanity Fair about his new film, Call Me By Your Name, in theaters now.

That makes two of us. I’m sick of Queerty pimping your movie.

agree….and saying nothing about George Takei’s sexual assault accusations.

It seems it is only showing in NY and LA right now on its opening weekend. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 98 rating review, the highest number I’ve ever seen for an indi film, or most films for that matter. That really really rocks. BB Mountain got an 87 on the Tomatoe Meter.
I’m looking forward to seeing how well it does on this opening weekend.

Moonlight got a 98

Wow, imagine, people asking pervy questions when the movie is about a taboo relationship. If you don’t like answering questions about the movie you’re in, don’t be in it. Everyone in every movie gets stupid questions but we don’t hear Hemsworth complaining about all the stupid people at cons. It just makes you look bad.

Except…..it’s not about a taboo relationship. It’s about an intimate relationship between two human beings. Why would anyone need to get pervy and ask stupid questions ? Why would you think it’s OK to get pervy and ask stupid questions ? Italian age of consent is 14 years by the way.

People are people but yeah, the pervy stupid questions get old. The movie is beautiful, about two bisexual dudes that are drawn to each other. These pervy questions definitely make the interviewer look bad.
This fellow from Out magazine asked some interesting questions, some might have gone over the line, but overall a good job. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAw54ClHBFA
