Watch: Artist Creates Stunning RuPaul & Ivy Winters Portraits Using Only Makeup

Artist Nathan Wyburn has created two stunning portraits of Ivy Winters, from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5, and mama RuPaul herself. These portraits, however, are made using a surprising artistic medium: makeup!

Wyburn used a mixture of liquid eyeliner, multiple shades of foundation, lipstick and colored face makeup to create both portraits.

In addition to creating the portraits, Wyburn also records the creation process, which you can watch below, and then edits the videos so that viewers can watch the painting evolution happen at high speed. The videos are less than two minutes each and they are amazing to watch!
