Former Australian politico Jeff Kennett should learn to watch his mouth.
The president of the Hawthorn Football Club and former premiere of Victoria will soon find himself in court for remarking that a local soccer team was right to fire bisexual trainer Ken Campagnolo. Campagnolo’s sexuality, said Kennett, made him comparable to a pedophile:
The club felt that once this had been pointed out and you had this gentleman there who was obviously close to young men – massaging young men – it ran an unnecessary risk, and that’s why it decided it was best that he not perform those duties again. So the club was trying to do the right thing.
When you are in charge of a group of young boys, as this club was, as I understand it, it’s got to make sure. It’s the same if you have a pedophile there as a masseur, right?
A lawyer for Campagnolo compared Kennett’s remarks to “inciting hate against gay men” and says the 60-year old simply wanted to plant fear in the minds of the kids’ parents.

Hey guys,
Why didn’t anyone proofread this article. The “Football” involved is Aussie Rules Football not soccer. LOL.
But yeah Kennett should also step down from his role with the depression charity Beyond Blue.

Give the guy a break, maybe the only kind of gays he has met are
ones like Men-Sar, if so it would be understandable that he thinks like he does.

Gary Burns appears to have a real inferiority complex and/or chip on his shoulder about his sexuality. Perhaps he should get some counselling from Jeff Kennett instead of taking him to court. If he doesn’t, I think Jeff will be a good match for him in court.
If Jeff had said ‘having a bisexual massaging young men is as dangerous as having a woman do it’, would he have been saying Campagnolo was a woman? Of course not, so Jeff was not saying Campagnolo was a paedophile, or that bisexuals are. He was just saying that parents would rightly be concerned about anyone who ‘could’ be sexually attracted to their young men massaging them. He was right.
Gary needs to get a life.
