We always thought Ryan O’Neal was kind of sexy, and the new unofficial biography of Barbra Streisand says she slept with him! Perhaps it even happened while they were filming What’s Up, Doc?. She was so cute and quirky in that movie, no man could resist her.
But the book, titled Barbra: The Way She Is, doesn’t stop there. It lists countless other high-profile conquests, including Warren Beatty, Steve McQueen, Kris Kristofferson, Don Johnson, Jon Voight, Elliott Gould, Andre Agassi, Richard Gere, Omar Sharif, Liam Neeson and Peter Jennings. Of course Barbra says it is all lies.

Does the truth matter these days? Normally, I would not dignify vicious, mean-spirited mythology masquerading as biography. But it seems that this latest rehashing of other unauthorized biographies is getting a lot of attention. Who is the person described in this book? Certainly not anyone I know. This stereotypic image bears very little resemblance to me or anything about me.
We love that she has a “Truth Alerts” section alongside many political diatribes about President Bush and the Republican party on her Sony Music-hosted website. She is definitely getting cantankerous with age.
