The annual celebration, sponsored by The Urban Bear, will bring together thousands of furry-chested men in New York City May 2-5. The idea is to celebrate all things bear-ish while growing the gay sub-community by giving guys the opportunities to connect socially, professionally and “more.” Events include everything from a code party at the Eagle to takeovers at the Museum of Modern Art. The weekend culminates with the Urban Bear dance party (Saturday) and a street fair (Sunday) with portions of the proceeds going to Marriage Equality NY.
