Apart for how this show is the same thing every week, it reminds me of the book/show roots, where Halley seemed to associated every moment in black history (in the US) as part of his family history. Maybe his family is like Charlemagne and just about everyone Caucasian can trace their family tree back to him. Pose seems to have the same basis, every thing that happened around the era of the 80’s has happened to this small group of people. Like all Murphy’s shows, there is a lot of liberty taken in what actually happened and where/when it happened.
