Bishop Daniel Obinim is facing charges for whipping two teenage girls on live TV back in August, one of whom was pregnant, saying he was punishing them for fornication and planning to abort a pregnancy.
Now a video from earlier this summer has resurfaced, showing the Ghanaian pastor, leader of the International God’s Way Ministries, groping men, claiming he can make them larger with his spiritual powers.

He also claims powers helpful to women.
“If you do not like the looks of any part of your body, come to me, what do you want that I can’t offer?” he asks, on his personal TV channel Obinim TV. “If you want big buttocks I can do it for you, if you want big breasts, I can help. If you have a small manhood, I can change them all when I come to the spiritual realm.”
Watch Obinim perform his “healing” in the video below.
In addition to his violence against the teenagers, Obinim has trashed a radio station, and stepped on a pregnant woman’s stomach, leading Amnesty International to call for his arrest.
Watch him try to explain his outburst at the radio station in the video below.
Obinim has also claimed he can turn into animals, prompting British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin to challenge him to turn into a snake on live TV. He has yet to take up the challenge.

This so called “Bishop” “man of God” whatever, needs to come out of the closet. He needs to stop fighting against who he is an just come out. If he needs asylum in order to live his truth, then so be it. otherwise, he needs to be stopped from hurting other people because of his own hang ups.

I am deeply concerned that the majority of human society subscribes to this childish nonsense. These sake oil salesmen are in every country and oftentimes hold undeserved power and influence in government and over the people they are supposed to serve. The danger of religion is when human failings of greed and hubris are married to spiritual practice. Corrupt spiritual leaders oftentimes purport to have the ear of God, but in reality using God to fulfill their personal desires for money, sex and power. Such people IMHO are truly the scum of the earth.

@flybyKnight: In some African Countries they still burn villagers for being Witches. Much of Africa is still in the stone age.

Should this be any surprise? Fondling is part of their ordination requirements.

Quite a number of African tribes traditionally had (and maybe still have) ritualised homosexual acts that served as a similar cover story for their real desires. For example, more than a few had fellatio as a right of passage, and promoted the idea that ingesting semen would turn a boy into a man. Great story, huh?! Of course, when these guys get religion they conveniently forget all of this and claim that homosexuality is a western vice that never existed in Africa before. Too funny.

That is actually a tribe in Papua New Guinea, nowhere near Africa.
The nature of manhood rituals is random, and most are hardly homosexual (unless you consider such things as neo-pubescent circumcision, subincision, and genital piercing, or in the best cases vision quests to be homosexual).

In some parts of Africa albino men must be guarded as their body parts are considered to have magical powers. If not guarded they are kidnapped, ritually murdered and their body parts sold for large sums of money.
