Indian actor Imran Khan, star of Bollywood’s upcoming I Hate Luv Storys, appeared shirtless in local newspapers, and it’s apparently set off a feeding frenzy of gay male fans so obsessed with Khan, they are calling the film’s production company begging for … “an autographed picture of the actor.” Do people still care about these things? Is anyone calling up Matthew McConaughey’s rep and asking, pretty please, won’t he sign this photo?

Erm, this is kind of being blown out of proportion by both the Indian and (mostly queer) Western media.
Tons of guys pose shirtless in Bollywood. Khan’s not the first one. Hello! Watch any Bollywood film or read any Bollywood magazine.
It’s just a stupid “meme” that the Indian media has taken off on, and the Western media seems to follow suit.
I mean, yeah, gays in India may think he’s hot, but no one I know is sitting around obsessing over him as if he’s a gay icon.
