It’s so funny to me that people are obsessed with Brazilian guys not knowing that the majority of them are black. The features you’re praising so much like a large square booty, thick lips, thick neck, broad shoulders, and that perfectly tanned skin all come from their African heritage.
The ultimate irony is that even in Brazil the hatred of blackness even leads most of them to deny that they are black and claim white to get ahead because you can be arrested or killed there for looking too black there on a larger scale than in the U.S.
Why am I posting this? Because the constant worship of black men who look “white enough to pass” promotes self hatred amongst blacks around the world. Just look at the footballer Neymar who straighten his hair and dyed it blond to make himself look whiter(it even confused Americans). He later had bananas thrown at him and was called a monkey. His response was “I’m not even black!”
If you love black features so much then please quit looking for “white facial features” on black men. You may not think it matters but it does and it’s really time to stop the nonsense. There are black people around the world destroying their bodies to look “white” when the features you all find so attractive on them are 100% black. It’s the same with Italians, black Hispanics, black Spanish, black Asians, etc. There are black people everywhere but people find the light skinned ones with straight hair and a thin nose and pretend they aren’t black but “exotic” unknowns who are more attractive than everyone else.
I say this as a light skinned person everyone thinks is mixed and therefore unlike every black person… Even the ones I’m related to. It’s very hurtful and ugly.
I know people aren’t doing it on purpose consciously but to go all the way to Brazil to love a big butt, tan skin, and fat lips when you can walk outside your front door right now and see it is very telling. And no black man should have to straighten his hair for you to find him attractive. In both Brazil and the U.S. light skinned and mixed black men are straightening their hair and will take that secret to the grave so you’ll find them attractive. Brazil has been ravaged by self hate due to how they are treated based on skin tone. They have over 50 words to separate each other based on skin tone and create a hierarchy based on that. It’s disgusting and America is making it worse by praising the lightest ones for looking “white” despite having thick black bodies. They use more skin lightning creams and hair relaxers than you could ever imagine…
Maybe I’m wasting my time writing this but if even one person sees how damaging this stuff is and stops glorifying it then some difference was made.

@Hussain-TheCanadian: Um, it depends on where and what part of the country. The same thing applies to Colombia, Argentina and other countries. Urban areas GENERALLY are more accepting (and I say GENERALLY). Rural areas are NOT. Urban areas tend to be more open and accepting.
