Brazilian Singer Daniela Mercury Comes Out Via Instagram

One of Brazil’s most popular singers, Daniela Mercury, came out via Instagram by posting a photo of her and her partner, journalist Malu Verçosa. She included the caption, “Malu is now my wife, my family, my inspiration to sing.” The singer has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and she has the most number 1 hits in the country with 14 singles topping the charts.

Fans of Mercury have demonstrated their support on her Instagram profile: Over 8,900 fans have like the photo and over 2,400 fans have left comments of congratulations.
