“Compulsory sex and relationships lessons for 11-year-old children are to include classroom discussions on gay unions and civil partnerships. Secondary pupils will learn about contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), while primary school children will learn about their bodies and friendships, a review of sex education has concluded. The review was ordered in October after ministers announced that sex and relationships education (SRE) lessons should be made compulsory to help primary and secondary pupils to “navigate the complexities of modern life” and to ensure that children learnt their sex education from the classroom, not the playground.” [Times]

I learned the physiological ins and outs at age 11, in primary school. Then the sociological issues in secondary school, at about 13/14. That seemed like a perfectly sensible way to do it, to me. So this was being done 20 years ago, at least in my English all-boys church school (which disappointingly was not a hotbed of rumpy-pumpy).

@HeteroDefenseLeague: HAHAHA!!!! That is hilarious. Trust me, we don’t want to recruit any children. I’m 22 and I think it is so sad that people like you are even on this website in the first place. Were you too busy recruiting young boys to your bedroom because your wife won’t do things to you?? You zealots are the real perverts trying to “cure” homosexuality. Next thing, you will all try to “cure” African Americans of their skin color and “cure” Jews. You must have had a sad childhood…

Unfortunately Faith schools have been given an opt-out. So muslm schools will still be able to teach that Gay people should be killed, Catholics, that homosexuality is an ‘intrinsic evil’ and other christian sects, that Gays will ‘burn in hell’.

I am angry and disappointed – I expected more from the present Government. But they are desperately seeking re-election and trying to appease the bigots, after upsetting them with Civil Partnerships and Equal Rights legislation which bans discrimination in all fields (except education apparently).

@HeteroDefenseLeague:
At least they’ll stand a chance of being more than a closet wanker like you.
