Just do it

Burn, baby, burn: Memers take aim at all those people torching their Nikes for America

All across the nation, men and woman are burning their tennis shoes and ripping apart their workout clothes because… ‘Merica!

To make a long story short: Nike announced this week that Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback who became political lightning rod when he began kneeling during the National Anthem to protest against police brutality, is one of the faces for its new “Just Do It” campaign.

Naturally, racists, Trump supporters, and white supremacists weren’t happy about any of this. So they’ve taken to social media to express their outrage:

In addition to torching their Nikes (which they’ve already paid for), many have also cut the logo out of their clothing (which they’ve also already paid for):

The whole thing is, frankly, ridiculous.

And now, the memes…

I wouldn't be surprised to hear this before the week is out. #Nike #Kep
