Caitlyn Jenner Will Get A Makeover In The Most “Stunning And Brave” Episode Of South Park Ever

South_Park_Season_14It’s been a time-honored tradition for South Park to parody celebrities throughout its past eighteen seasons, and tonight’s season premiere will see the show take on none other than Caitlyn Jenner.

Although Comedy Central is being a bit cryptic with details, Entertainment Weekly reports that the press release for the episode titled “Stunning and Brave” states, “The boys express respect for Caitlyn Jenner.”

“There is a new principal at the helm of South Park Elementary. He forces the boys to confront the damage they’ve done through their history of racism and unconscious bias. It is the most stunning and brave South Park ever.”

It’s unclear to what extent Caitlyn’s persona will be featured in the episode; however, South Park’s creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are no strangers to courting controversy through the cartoon’s irreverent humor and have skewered many high profile celebs including Tom Cruise, John Travolta, Rosie O’Donnell and Elton John. While Jenner is most likely not participating directly in her episode, the former Olympian has also been a lightning rod lately when it comes to the topic of gay marriage. In her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week, she still seemed to have reservations about accepting same-sex marriage. She has since clarified her stance in a blog post on her website stating, “everyone should be able to marry the person they love.”

“Stunning and Brave” is not the first time South Park makes an effort to explore transgender topics. The plot for season nine’s premiere involved a teacher undergoing a sex change in an episode titled “Mr. Garrison’s Fancy New Vagina.” Last year, the show addressed gender identity in “The Cissy.”
