California Denny’s Waiter Stabbed For Being Gay

It wasn’t that Curtis Martin, 24, was unhappy with his Moons Over My Hammy order. He was upset that Denny’s employed a gay waiter. So around 3:30am Thursday, after knocking on the window before the restaurant in Santa Maria, California was open and asking to use the bathroom, he approached a table of seated Denny’s employees and asked if a particular waiter was gay. The waiter said yes. Then Martin allegedly stabbed him and fled back to his car

Now the Martin (pictured) is being booked on attempted murder with a hate crime attachment after police caught him driving away from the scene.

The thirty-something waiter, who suffered neck and throat wounds, was hospitalized and is expected to survive.
