Several of Cameron Dallas’s 20.6 million followers became discernibly verklempt after he posted a revealing pic of his bold new look.
After the 23-year-old posted pics with a shaved head, beard, and tattoos everywhere (including his face), many of his fans took to the comments section to voice their concerns.
Alongside the photo, he wrote, “Sorry mum.” He also added a subtle syringe emoji. (Or is it supposed to be a tattooist’s needle?)
Commentators said he’d “ruined” his body. They wanted the “old” Cameron back.

But then, a shocking twist: The images were all but smoke and mirrors. The tattoos were, in fact, temporary.
In a followup Instagram post, he writes:
“Happy birthday to the best mum in the world!! Thank you for putting up with my crazy self… Even when I decide to come home covered in (fake) tats. Took her to get her nails done because it’s the least she deserves!”
So now fans can rest easy knowing they’ll still see plenty of this:

If you honestly look back at your pics when you were that age you might say the same thing. As a young 20 something I too was very pretty. I peaked in my 30s as I was very handsome. Now if I get up and I don’t look like shit I’m feeling very good about myself:)
