Fischerspooner’s Casey Spooner recently sat down with British music mag NME to give them the scoop on the duo’s forthcoming album.
Every record is very different for us. The first one was very digital, very synthetic. The second one was warmer, more acoustic. And this one? I don’t know what to describe it as. It still sounds very us. There’s elements that sound like the first record and there are elements that sound like the second record, but at the same time it doesn’t sound like either one. I think the writing is better. They’re just a bit more poppy and a little bit more upbeat, but not as underground dance as the first record. They’re kind of like new pop.
We’re popping with antici-pation!
