Catholic Priest Allegedly Stole Millions Of Dollars To Pay Rent Boy Lover

Rev. Peter Miqueli is being accused of stealing more than $1 million in donations in order to pay for sex and support his “rent boy lover.”

On Thursday, the lawsuit was filed by furious parishioners, who accused Miqueli of siphoning cash from the donation plate at the various Churches he worked at.

He’s also been accused of stealing money in order to purchase a hot tub, drugs, and various sex toys.

The New York Post reports that the priest allegedly had an ongoing S&M romance with Keith Crist, who insisted Miqueli call him “master” and drink his urine.

As per the Archdiocese’s rules, donations are supposed to be placed in locked bags that are stored safely and counted by a parishioner before ultimately being deposited into the church bank account.

Miqueli apparently put the money in unlocked bags that he counted himself in his bedroom, occasionally even leaving foot high stacks of it laying around.

He even hired Crist to work as the parishes’ new business manager, but he was fired by the Archdiocese after a complaint.

These allegations go back over ten years, according to lawyer Michael Dowd, who insists that the church was aware of the thievery all along.

“It’s unbelievable,” he said, “that the diocese can’t come to a conclusion about the misconduct of Miqueli when there is money missing that may be a million dollars from each (parish)”.

Jack Lynch, a Bronx parishioner, spoke to the New York Daily News and claimed the church is “going out of their way to protect him, and for years. We suspect a scandal behind the scandal.”

The priest has yet to be disciplined, which is infuriating parishioners. A website and Facebook page has been created in the hopes of getting the priest fired.

“I have stopped going,” says one former churchgoer. “No one likes him, and it really has torn apart the parish. People have confrontations with him over the collections and the money.”

“It’s sad that one person can destroy what was a great community with their greed and their actions”.

According to a spokesman for the Archdiocese, they’re taking the allegations seriously and have ordered an audit of the parish.
