“America’s Independent News Network”, WND, claims CBS is mocking Tim Tebow, and in effect Christianity itself, with new Super Bowl ads featuring openly gay actor Neil Patrick Harris.
“CBS, the television network airing the big game this year, is now using an outspoken homosexual actor to mimic Tim Tebow’s style of trumpeting messages in eyeblack on his face,” said the site. “One football fan who watched the CBS promo Sunday made the connection between Harris and Tebow, saying, ‘They’re pushing a gay agenda by using him, and they’re mocking Christians at the same time.'”
Speaking of pushing an agenda, WND also publishes the magazine, Whistleblower, featuring a cover proclaiming Barack Obama “The First Muslim President.”
WND even included an unnecessarily long poll asking if CBS is mocking Tebow and/or Christianity with the majority of voters (all 352 of them) choosing “Yes, and every effort should be made to boycott CBS and its advertisers.”
Now when a promo featuring Beyoncé wearing similar eyeblack debuted, no one accused CBS of pushing a fierce diva agenda, but with “an outspoken homosexual actor” it’s automatically an imaginary attack on an entire religion. Of course, for some football fans Tebow represented the second coming. For New York Jets fans, however, NPH would probably make a more desirable quarterback.

Mock away, I say, but what does NPH have to do with football, anyway?

So has the ship sailed on my recommendation for under the eyes make up.
“using the christian god as a sign that he supports gambling is an affront to christianity far in excess of anything NPH or CBS has or will ever do”
Bit of a mouthful admittedly but it’s better and a lot more accurate don’t you agree.
There is always my other one.
“Your god is shit and you are a cretin for believing in any deity, you thick fucking c*nts”
Punchy.
2eo
Ooooo oooo. Tim Tebow can put:
“My god allows school massacres and delights in innocent children dying, as do I because I believe god kills kids to show his love of all of us”
I’m sure you’ll agree it is the way to go.

Leave it to the faux christians to stir the pot, errr, their pot of vitriol. They never cease to amaze people with their “Poor me, the victim,” rant. Geeezzzzz… give me a break!
doug105
We’re was this outrage when that baseball player mocked their beloved slut of god with eyeblack that said your a f@ggot? guess that was ok being a “manly insult”.
2eo
@doug105: You mean the one that was posted that everyone attacked a few months ago.
Maybe you should try looking before moaning. Just a suggestion.
doug105
@2eo: But not by the same group of people. At least not that I saw.

It probably has more to do with him being openly gay and in the ad than anything else.

“America’s Independent News Network”, WND, Does Not represent Christianity nor the teachings of Yaweh (????, Y?šû?‘, Jesus Christ).
There is substantial evidence that when reading un-abridged versions of the scripture one will come to understand that Yaweh engaged in a loving relationship with a 14 or 15 year old Royal named Lazarus.
For further information read “the man jesus loved” by Theodore W. Jennings.

My my my…. once again those poor oppressed marginalized Christians are beaten down by the big gay leftist media and its flaming gay agenda…. My heart just breaks for the Chrisitans… I mean, how much more oppression can they take?!
Cam
So now the right wing is defending a lispy guy who is older, never dates because he is just too busy and claims to be a virgin because he just hasn’t found the right person…also he doesn’t seem to be dating or trying. AND the fans get furious if you even point that out.
Tebows fans are so much like Clay Aiken’s fans before he came out that it isn’t even funny.

Why are we giving another marginal Christian group this attention?
This is exactly what they are asking for. Big clue of how big the membership is————-352 members. And lets face it there are less than 352 members. I am sure these numbers are hyperbole. Like that one member Catholic watch group that gets attention.
If they are going to call President Obama a Muslim after we know he is on record as being a Christian how much more do you really need to know about this group.
When any religion gets more attention for their hatred or pointing fingers rather than preaching of love and tolerance….

Tebow made himself a celebrity and a public figure by his own actions. He even trademarked his one knee kneeling ‘Thank You God’ pose. I haven’t heard him complain. Maybe this group needs to mind its own business.

Grown men running around, chasing each other, wanting the ball, crawling all over each other. Grunting, panting sweating. Some are designated wide receivers and tight ends trying to SCORE. Concluding with a big group shower. That says Neil Patrick Harris to me.
