Has it really already been a year since Channing Tatum Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Matthew McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer and crew took it all off in Magic Mike? Twelve months later, Tatum reveals details on the film’s sequel to The Hollywood Reporter.“It will be a road trip movie,” Tatum said. “It will essentially be the movie that everyone thought the first one was going to be — crazy and fun and less slice-of-life and less drama. The first one, we had to make not so cheesy and campy; this one we are going to swing for the fences.”
So more sleazy dancing and grinding? Hell yes!
Tatum also might be directing the sequel as Steven Soderbergh (who helmed the 2012 film) announced he’s no longer making movies, but he said really wants to lure Soderbergh out of retirement to do it again. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see, but in the mean time, let’s relive the, ahem, magic from last summer:

Why praise a film that uses a gay slur? That is sad and self-loathing. If I was Bomer, I’d be embarassed to has been in the first one, much less a second one.

Personally, I saw the first and besides my deep loathing for Channing Tatum, I still didn’t like it, won’t be planning to see the second unless if features an actor I really like.

The first one would have been great, if they focused on the hot guys stripping. Instead we’d see a guy strip his shirt and then, WHAM, the idiotic straight “romance” with the thin-lipped lemon-faced bitch would appear. The entire movie was embarrassing, and not in the gyrating, ass-flashing way it should have been.
