Chaz Bono Slims Down In Search Of An Acting Career

1378400975_chaz-bono-lgCheck out Chaz Bono!

Since appearing on the 2011 season of Dancing With the Stars, the 44-year-old son of Cher subtly announced plans to start losing weight in pursuit of a serious acting career.

Anyone can talk that talk, but Bono is clearly walking the walk. He stepped out in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon sporting a dramatically thinner physique to back up his new, healthier lifestyle, as well as more form-fitting clothes than what we’ve come to expect from him.

Us Magazine reports that Bono has made a number of positive changes to his diet, including the addition of a juicer and regular workout routine.

If DWTS can save Chaz Bono’s health, imagine what it will do for Elizabeth Berkley’s career!

  • Bozen

    Wow, those veins! Pretty sexy.

  • AEH

Remind me again why is he famous other than his mother…

  • ToxicLittleQueen

@Bozen: Yes! He looks great. Sexay arms!

  • Tone

Kudos to Chaz for sticking with a diet and exercise plan. I hope he defies the odds and keeps it off.

  • yaoming

Wow, is that the same person? Good for him.

  • J.c.

I’ll never understand why he let himself get so fat in the first place. So many lesbians and transgender males feel that being fat represents masculinity.

  • Jessie R

@J.c.: In the case of trans guys, I think it’s a disconnect from your body that leads you to not care for it as well as you should. I was never huge, but I do take much better care of myself now that I can own my body, so to speak. (I can’t speak for lesbians, as I never thought I was one.) In my case, the extra pressure to look good that you get from the gay male community probably had an impact as well.

  • Polaro

Excellent. He was looking pretty unhealthy with all that weight.

  • Cam

An Actor? Really? I get that he was raised around that, but come on. Get a real job.
