New details have emerged out of the dire situation in Chechnya as a survivor from one of the secret prisons reveals that parents are being told to kill their gay children before the authorities do. incarcerating homosexuals
As we reported last month, Chechen leader and ally of Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov, authorized six concentration camp for men “suspected of being homosexual.” They’re the world’s first concentration camp for gay people since Hitler’s camps established in the 1930s.
Kadyrov told Putin the camps simply don’t exist, and the Russian leader has reportedly accepted that dismissal despite knowing the full measures of what’s going on there: Kadyrov aspires to wipe out Chechnya’s gay community by month’s end.

The authorities said to them: ‘Your son is a homosexual – sort it out or we’ll do it ourselves.’ They replied: ‘It’s our family. We’ll do it. The family took him and killed him in the forest…They buried him there. They didn’t even give him a funeral. If I go home, my own family will kill me.”

This killing is done by police and officials in a Russian Republic using the Russian anti-lgbt law as a backing. An honor killing is when a family member without official pressure from police kills somebody by their own choice for the supposed shame brought on the family.
A family being forced to do that by officials and police inside the Russian Federation isn’t the same thing.
But again, you right wing trolls have only two goals, First, defend Trump and the GOP at any cost. Two Defend Putin at any cost.

Not when the official arm of the military or police are forcing parents to murder their children. That is not an “Honor Killing” that is state sponsored murder of lgbts in a Putin controlled Russian Republic.

This continues to be an absolutely horrific story. I wish there was something tangible we could do for the victims. The only thing I can think of is to encourage the Trump administration to be partial about granting asylum to gay people who escape Chechnya — and thus fulfill his promise to protect LGBTQ people –but I’m not holding my breath.

This is really disgusting, the Russian government, starting with Vladimir Putin, and his fan Girl, Ramazan Kadyrov, need to be pressured to stop this insanity immediately – A boycott Russia campaign needs to be started, there is one going to be launched here in Canada soon.
I would say we need to pressure our politicians, however in the case of the United States, how can anyone expect President “Donny Tiny Hands” to do anything if he just signed the “religions freedom act” – Disgusting, what’s next, “no gays allowed” signs?
