Christian Consulting Group Sends Michele Bachmann A Vibrator

Things aren’t going well for Strategy for Media Group, a conservative Christian political consulting outfit. The group has emerged as the go-to firm for such right-wing darlings as Newt Gingrich, Ted Cruz and Michele Bachmann. But it’s also churning with tremendous internal turmoil with a dissatisfied staff and a larger-than-life boss, Rex Elsass. Thanks to legal documents filed in an Ohio court in a lawsuit filed by a former staffer, we now know this choice bit of news:  the Strategy Group for Media accidentally sent Michele Bachmann a “female pleasure machine” to help with her migraines.

According to Buzzfeed, Elsass chose the vibrator by mistake and sent it to Bachmann’s office. Apparently, he was trying to pick out a vibrating-head massager to help with Bachmann’s migraines. Instead, he seems to have chosen a “pleasure object” from Brookstone. A person familiar with the story told Buzzfeed that the Strategy for Media Group was able to retrieve the gift before Bachmann opened it. No word on what Michele got in its place.
