To be fair, the rumours that were floating around for a couple of years now (before this big breakup/an unidentified source said/tabloid story bullshit) was that Christina did do girls on the side, but that it was separate from Jordan (ie. they had an open relationship at her behest, and she brought the girls home/fucked girls on tour for herself and not for threesomes with her hubby).
In fact, the rumours flying around before she ever got with this guy were that she was gay/bi, and that that was the reason for her strained relationship with Pink and/or Britney. (that they had rejected her advances) It does sound like bullshit, but i’ve heard it from a few different sources. Britney even commented in an interview that Christina tried to shove her tongue down her throat in the bathroom of some club, and Britney was weirded out and pushed her away. I don’t know, it does read like fanfiction, but stranger things have happened.
Oh, and I have no allegiances in the Britney/Christina/Mariah debate, but I must say, I love a good stan war.

The best way to tell a fake female bisexual entertainer from a genuine one is to ask her if her boyfriend or husband is also bisexual. The ones that stutter their way through the answer are the fakes.
Consider the common use of female bisexuality as a marketing ploy in the straight porn industry. If you ask these porn whore chicks if they’re bisexual, they’ll all put up their hands. If you ask them if their husbands or boyfriends are bisexual, they’ll usually say “no”.
Keep in mind that a lot of this female bisexuality in the entertainment industry is based on a marketing ploy. It’s designed at the level of females’ agents with the aim of appealing to the sleazy straight guy fantasy.
We don’t need, nor want, any of them in our movement.

I’m simply pointing to the double standard of bisexuality in many women, one that is driven by the sleazy notion that a woman can use her sexuality as a marketing ploy to get ahead. I simply don’t like women who claim to be bisexual for this purpose. It’s highly disrespectful to the GLBT community.
I always say to people that we in the GLBT community need to be wary of women. Not necessarily in a suspicious sense but in the sense of understanding that women can, and do, use their sexuality as a ploy. Because of this extra layer in females, it complicates and masks things, and may make it seem that a female is on the side of the GLBT movement when, in fact, she isn’t.
