Colton Haynes just announced he’ll be joining the seventh season of American Horror Story.
To break the news, the out actor posted a photograph to Instagram with lipstick (or blood!?) smeared all over his handsome mug.
Haynes previously worked with Ryan Murphy on the now-canned series Scream Queens.
Haynes is joining the likes of gay comedian Billy Eichner and Billie Lourd, the former Scream Queens star (and daughter of the late Carrie Fisher.)
How about we take this to the next level?

Sarah Paulson and Cheyenne Jackson are also returning this season.
According to Murphy, the upcoming season of AHS has a politically-charged theme.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens, he told Andy Cohen, “Well, I don’t have a title but the season that we begin shooting in June will be about the election that we just went through so I think that will be exciting for a lot of people.”
When Cohen asked if there’d be a character based on Trump, Murphy replied: “Ahhhhhh, maybe.”

I told him to hit up Murphy for work about a week ago on this site. Guess he took my advice.
Haven’t watched AHS in years. It stopped being even trashy fun. Won’t be returning. But good on Colton for finding a job.

Yes you did. One benefit of keeping yourself visible.

Who cares?

AHS will probably be another disappointment this year. They should stay out of the political spectrum.

IT shouldn’t bother you, they already don’t have any GOP viewers. They’ve had seasons with lgbt storylines, and season 3 was all about powerful women. Republicans would have shut it off in disgust.

@DCguy
Now you’re trying to dictate what I watch on TV?
My comment was addressing that people have had enough with shows getting political. When will the show get back to it’s roots and be an entertaining horror show like in season 1 and 2
Hotel was a disaster, Roanoke kept us waiting, Coven got boring and had a terrible ending, Freak Show started off good but then meandered on
DCguy
@mhoffman
And the Republican party has a platform plant attacking lgbt rights, and legislation attacking women’s rights.
Don’t get mad at me for pointing out those facts. Oh wait, that’s right, that is the only defense. Don’t defend the bigoted behavior, just attack bringing it up.
Now as for your comments on the show, I’m shocked to say that I agree with most of it except I didn’t think Coven got boring, but it did have a soft ending. Freakshow started great and then became pretty unwatchable.

All the gay D-listers would be totally unemployed if it weren’t for this guy. Think it’s safe to say Ryan Murphy is the gay Tyler Perry lol.
