Comedian Katt Williams, who’s not the most hetero-seeming feline in the kennel himself, is claiming Oscar nominee Jamie Foxx has man fever.
At a show in L.A., Williams gossiped that he knew of a major African-American screen idol who was gay—but Before anyone could shout “we know about Sherman Hemsley!”, the jokeman revealed he was talking about Foxx, star of the upcoming Tarantino flick Django Unchained.
Williams alleges that Foxx is hooking up with protege Marques Anthony, who’s signed to Foxx’s label, UM3G. (He also goes off on Django, claiming he turned down a part in the film because it was racist.)
“Who’s gay? Jamie Foxx. I can even tell you the name of the dude he fucked—his name is Marcus Anthony [sic]. He’s the only dude signed to Jamie Foxx’s label. Check it out and then Twitter the dude and ask him to see if he’ll say yes.
The dude told me backstage at a show and he told me I could bring him onstage and air it out. I said, ‘No, nigga, let me wait until I get to L.A.’
Fuck Jamie Foxx and the ‘Django Unchained’ check he cashed. They offered me the script and I said, ‘Any nigga that do this deserves to die.’ And the next thing I heard, Jamie Foxx was in makeup. I went to the set myself and I couldn’t believe it. I got a copy of the script. They gave me a copy of the script written in Spielberg’s hands. The words ‘fuck you, nigger’ appear one hundred and seventy six times in the script.”
We’ve heard rumors about Foxx before—like when his dick shots popped up on guyswithiphones.com—but he has kids from two different relationships.
Regardless, we’re positive Marcus Anthony can’t be gay—he dated UK X Factor winner Alexandra Burke in 2011! They went to the Cosmopolitan Awards for their first date, so you know it’s for real real.

Katt Williams is a comedian?
TIL a painfully unfunny person doesn’t have to be one to be considered one.
Robby
Howard Stern has been implying this for years…can you name one girl he has ever dated?
Brian
Calling a man “gay” simply because he has sex with men is actually quite unfair. It suggests the man’s entire identity is based on sex but, more importantly, it suggests exclusivity. I personally know tons of men who have sex with both men and women, not necessarily in equal amounts but sex with both genders nonetheless. In other words, they are not monosexual.
The word “gay” when used as a noun or as an adjective in front of the word “man” strongly implies monosexuality. Yes, there are men who are monosexually gay. However, there are other men who are not monosexual.

Jamie Foxx coming out Gay/Bi would not surprise me.This Katt Williams guy is so annoying. He’s not funny and he has that annoying lil wayne voice.

@Brian:
You know who isn’t having ANY SEX… gay, straight, bi or otherwise?? People who use terms like monosexual, monosexual cisgender AND the Academy Award Winner::: Monosexual Cisgender Privilege!
Congratulations!!! You have cis-sexually crotch blocked yourself from ANYTHING w/a live pulse.

I disapprove of anyone making comments like this about others – regardless how true it might be. If he has been harmed, he needs to file the information with the police. But broadcasting this as part of his “act” is just very wrong.
dykeventura
why is it so important when a man “comes out”…or does not? When a woman does it her career is not harmed, especially if she claims bisexuality. I notice a clear bias against males in this instance. Also is a lesbian also gay? For that matter can a gay male be a lesbian? We have to come up with terms that make sense. Gay after all means “happy” or gleeful. I doubt any human is always “happy”. And I am not from the island of Lesbos, nor have I read any poetry by Saphos. Dyke works if you want to be streewise, but just calling me a woman who likes women comes across intelligent. I support my brothers out there who like men (and women). So if Jamie Fox falls into that category of a man who likes men only or both genders, it’s his business.
Little-Kiwi
all i know is i’d tap that in a heartbeat.

He is so unfunny!! Katt Williams proves anybody can call themselves a comedian these days….

Katt Williams is gay….
PRINCE OF SNARKNESS aka DIVKID
katt williams has been acting unhinged recently, so idk…and that story has major holes.
however, that “he has 2 kids” defence… loool!…i used to bang a dude who had 12 kids — TWELVE!! — courtesy of several baby mommas all by age 39.
(after the homophobic murder of another much older guy, a fixture at my local gay bar, we were all shocked when it was revealed he too was father to twelve kids; and an ostensibly happily devoted husband to his wife, who was as incredulous at the idea of him being into men as we were at that he was the type to ever trouble a pussy. it’s not for nothing that gay/bi men have excelled in the espionage and acting professions.)
Brian
dykeventura,
Good point about the double standard between men and women. Sometimes I think that the gay community itself contributes to the double standard.

Katt Williams is a volatile drug addict with a failing career and several ism’s and phobia’s he clings to happily and we are suppose to rely on him as a credible source?????
LadyL
@dykeventura There is a persistent double standard about gay men and women, but it’s the long legacy of history, and not just in the U.S. Historically men have been the dominant gender who made the rules; women the gender who submitted to those rules–or else. Because women were not taken seriously as people, their relationships were not scrutinized as closely, and “intense friendshps” could exist more or less under the social radar. The paradox is that though men ruled the world they also policed each other’s behavior ruthlessly, insisting on rigid standards of masculine identity and conduct.
I am not as convinced as you that women have more leeway to be openly gay these days–if that were true Latifah, among others, would be proudly out by now. Beautiful and sexy women are “allowed” to be gay or bi really only because the notion plays to straight male fantasies. Ellen is attractive but she ain’t Angelina Jolie, and when she dared to very publicly come out back in the ’90s she got clobbered for it and for a time watched her career derail. For all the salacious chatter about Angelina’s bisexuality, notice she’s only ever celebrated for and interviewed about her hetero relationship(s). Likewise Madonna once flirted with bisexuality but both she and the press seemed more comfortable talking about her straight partnerships.

I don’t like that Katt Williams has done this, not because Jamie Foxx’s sexual orientation is some dark secret that should be kept at all cost but because Katt’s gossip is so mean-spirited: He’s obviously trashing Foxx through this revelation. And his bizarre comments about the movie just come across as sour grapes.
But I don’t see Foxx’s queerness as “his business.” He’s famous after all, and if straight celebs have to put up with press and public curiousity about who they’re dating–and they do–I don’t see why LGBT celebs should be exempt. The scrutiny comes with the territory of fame. Besides, the whole “it’s nobody else’s business” mantra reeks of secrecy, of gay as this identity that shouldn’t be publicly discussed or can be acknowledged only under carefully controlled circumstances… nobody considers Brad Pitt’s heterosexuality–I mean the fact of his sexual orientation–as “his business.” He’s just straight that’s all.
Brian
LadyL,
Your argument comes from the typical feminist perspective which seeks to blame everything on men. While it’s true that men play a role in the double standard applied to men versus women, my belief is that women are the main culprits.
I believe that women cultivate homophobic attitudes in men towards men. Women do this because they can’t bear to see male superiority enhanced by the concept of men not needing women. To women, men who don’t need women represent a threat. In order to repel this threat, women employ men to police other men.
In modern American culture, women can tolerate this threat if it is small and confined. Thus, women don’t really mind if, both conceptually and physically, male homosexuality is a minor aspect of society that can be fenced into a non-mainstream location. However, when the segregating fence is breached – especially in the form of male bisexuality – women start to feel threatened. Homophobia then becomes a matter of survival to a woman because it is used to repel the threat of her man becoming more attracted to men rather than to her.
I see women as the main enablers of homophobic attitudes to men.
boring
More importantly is the shock Katt Williams feels over the fact that the N word was used excessively in a Quentin Tarantino film about slavery.
Yeah, who’d of thought it, right?
GayBacon
Katt Williams calls everyone gay. His style is slapstick and Jamie Foxx has a porn home video out if I remember correctly so at most, he’s bi.

@Brian:
Brian feminism and females are not beating, killing and w/alllll the power that legislates and CONTROLS men, gay men or bi-men. Paaahleeze give yourself a little reality check for the New Year.
If women had allll this power to “cultivate homophobic attitudes in MEN TOWARDS MEN” then why can’t we use this same power to “cultivate” these men who legislate women’s reproductive choices, men to pay their child support, men to stop violence against women and children, gain our own marriage rights as lesbians, protective adoption rights of our families, gain the the over 1,000 marriage rights and benefits, etc.
Trust me… you think yourself way more important then any female does.
dykeventura
@ Brian
I never looked it like that but you point makes perfect sense, especially considering males, straight and gay have at a focal point of their intent, women (whether it’s their mothers, wives, female friends, or women in general). Very good points. I think just as we as women had to find and are still finding our own voices, so must males. They are still the most enslaved of our human species whether we like to admit it or not.
@ LadyL I agree and disagree my sister on your points about “being one’s own business” the idea of a private sexuality. I guess I disagree with society at large on this because I do not care about Brad Pitt’s homo or heterosexuality nor Angelina Jolie’s for that matter. I do however care if I am spending 12.50 to see them on the big screen or buy a 9.95 redbox DVD featuring either of them or any other media where I am donating my personally precious time, especially if they have not put in the effort to ACT with some level of artistic professionalism and intelligence. In other words I only care about whether they can entertain my escapist desires and no more. What they do in the bedroom or car, or beach sexually is not my concern. I do however hear you on the point that they as “icons” have an obligation to be out in a society that is anti-homosexual. But isn’t that their business once again. They owe no one anything other than to be the best at their art, responsibly. We have a big problem in this world where we place icon-status to celebrities and nothing to the people who truly count, like a parent(s), or a counselor, or a friend, or a school teacher, or that homeless dude with the wise things he’s always saying. These people make more of an impact on the “average” person than Katt Williams or Jamie Foxx. By the way, Katt Williams seems like he has some sequins in his own personal closet. Perhaps it is he who is protesting too loudly, and should beware before the scrutiny makes a 360 on his a#$#…. Just saying.
ChiChi Man
@Brian: I don’t think this argument is valid. I do believe that women influence attitudes, but laws are predominantly written by men or enacted by power structures that are dominated by men. From sodomy laws to DADT to DOMA, the architects of homophobia are men. Anita Bryants attract attention, but Jesse Helmses write the laws.
Harvey
i know i’m late to this debate – some really great points about masculinity, feminism, celebrity/icon-worship, etc. what is funny to me is that no one picked up on the major faux pas in the katt williams quote. he states that he saw a copy of the script written in speilberg’s own hands. uhm, tarantino is responsible for django, not speilberg. so….. my two cents.
Maurice12
Oh I’d love to see Jamie Foxx and Will Smith do Brokeback Hood.
