It appears convicted gay basher Kathryn Knott‘s legal troubles are far from over.
Zachary Hesse and Andrew Haught, the gay couple Knott and her friends brutally attacked back in 2014, just filed a civil suit against the police chief’s daughter and her cohorts, Kevin Harrigan and Philip Williams.
The unprovoked hate crime made national headlines back in September 2014. Both Haught and Hesse were severely injured while enjoying a date night. Haught was knocked unconscious and had to undergo emergency surgery to repair a fractured jaw bone and orbital. Hesse suffered cuts and bruising on his face and body.
How about we take this to the next level?

According to the lawsuit, filed Wednesday, both victims say that in addition to their physical injuries, they suffered psychological injury, emotional distress and embarrassment. They are seeking unspecified damages.
Last year, Harrigan and Williams both avoided jail time by accepting a plea deal that included community service and probation. Knott chose to fight the charged in court, where she lost. A jury convicted her of simple assault, conspiracy and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. In February, she was sentenced to five to ten months at Riverside Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia, where she’s currently awaiting release.
Neither the plaintiffs’ attorneys nor the defendants have issued any comment, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted when they do.

This latest lawsuit comes just three weeks after Knott was slapped with another suit from blogger Kathleen O’Donnell, who alleges Knott used her daddy’s connections in law enforcement to get her fired from her job after writing a critical op-ed about the young gay basher.

So glad to hear 🙂

Two plead guilty and one was found guilty. This will be an easy civil suit to win.

And I hope the couple wins the lawsuit!!

This is great news. Screw her and her Daddy & his police connections. This was national news, and there is nothing to be intimidated about. This will help right the wrong of those other two pu**ies not getting any jail time.

All three need to be severely punished. Severely

Many women fear the symbolism of male homosexual desire. It represents male power, and thus the defeat of feminist notions such as “girl power”. It also destroys female prostitution as a business model for women.

I hope they prevail and take this bitch in particular for all they can. The other two bashers were assholes as well; at least they plead guilty and owned up to it – even if only for leniency. I think her guilty plea and her documented history as a generally horrible person which be persuasive factors in the civil suit.

@Brian: Yet most who commit hate crimes and assaults are heterosexual men. You are still up to your ridiculous behavior.

People ought to stop saying mean things about the poor Catholic girl such as ‘choke that ho’ or ‘stop whining you lil’ kunt’

I hope she and her dad will be completely bankrupt after this. It will teach them not to mess with us.

@Brian: WTH are you talking about? Seriously dude, if you are trying to sound intellectual: Fail.
I hope these three get demolished in the civil lawsuit. Couldn’t happen to a “nicer” group of haters.

This news just made my day. I hope the judge (or jury) make an example of her.

This bitch is such trash!!!!

Best news I’ve heard this year!

@Brian: First off, I’m SO glad to hear this piece of human feces is getting *something*, but I honestly wish she was getting more time — the charges just seem so diluted to me. (Though that was probably going to happen once it was noted that Dear Ol’Dad was in “law enforcement,” sadly.) BUT, I have to respectfully disagree with you, Brian — I’m proudly a feminist, raised BY feministS (my Dad is a proud feminist, as well), and I *LOVE* seeing couples of ALL kinds — especially fellow LGBTQIPA couples. When any of us — *especially* gay men — are in love and visibly display that to the world, it’s a beautiful thing. We shouldn’t have to hide in closets and fear horrid things like this anymore! Hate-filled, angry, wretched little beings like this female are just jealous of happy PEOPLE in love, and want the world to be as miserable and bitter as they are inside. I’m in a wheelchair, queer, and married to an amazing transgender man, and *WE* can’t imagine being this angry at the world…but maybe that’s because we have each other. Hmm…
Also, as for prostitution, I’m actually for the legalization (and licensing…like in Nevada) of prostitution for ALL genders. It would allow for more rights to be afforded to sex workers, demand more assistance from law enforcement for them, and give sex workers more rights, thus shifting the power from client to provider…*regardless of gender*. Sex workers of ALL genders are at risk, should be given MORE rights, not fewer, and gender shouldn’t even be in the equation.
So, as a feminist, I’m confused…what’s so bad about love and equality again?! ;-P (*smiles*)

@martinbakman: Why do you bring up the “catholic” thing? Any opportunity to bash catholics I guess. Hater. This is why gays cannot get any respect. They don’t give any. So how about you just STFU, twat.
