I would say the majority of her fans are progressive. She’s not mainstream enough to get played on country radio. She’s a critics’ darling & her following is based more on word of mouth. Her audience increased a little bit more after she won Album of the Year at the Grammys last year. She’s always been queer-friendly.

Trump has STATED he would appoint judges to overturn LGBTQ rights. So voting for him if you claim you like LGBTQ people, is voting for somebody trying to harm them.
So it’s more like, being a child and voting for somebody who wants to legalize child molestation, or being a woman and voting for somebody who wants to legalize spousal abuse.

I have enjoyed Casey’s music for a while. She is elegant and talented. Now I like her even more. We need people in C & W music to let their fans know diversity is here to stay. Thank You Casey.
